2. A seminar was jointly organized by the department with family planning association of India on women and reproductive health in September –2000.
3. A seminar was jointly organized by women’s studies department and ‘CHOWKI’ mangalore on ‘Globalisation and women’ in December –2000.
4. A state level seminar on women and law on March 11th 2001. This was sponsored by Karnataka Women Development Corporation.
5. A one day workshop was organized on Women and Empowerment of Gramsabha on 6th February 2002, jointly with local N.G.Os.
